In 1766, the Duchy of Lorraine was attached to France and the castle housed prestigious cavalry regiments without interruption until the beginning of the 20th century. Under restoration since the gigantic fire of January 2, 2003, the castle opens its doors to you and offers entertainment and events that are part of its cultural and tourist development project.

Construction of the Château des Lumières in Lunéville began in 1702 and was completed in 1723.
